MDCAT 2017
216 questions, every answer verified. Free to try.
ℹ️ This paper has 216 of the original 220 questions. The last 4 (Chemistry) were illegible in every copy of the original paper we checked, so they're left out rather than guessed at.
When the official key is wrong, we say so.
Every answer here is checked against the official key published for that paper. Where the key and the subject disagree — and on some papers that happens dozens of times — we mark the answer the science supports, and the explanation on that question says plainly that we have departed from the key and why. One paper's published key turned out to belong to a different paper code entirely.
Where a question cannot be resolved at all — an unreadable scan, a missing diagram, an option the original paper never printed — we switch it off rather than guess, and the paper's own note tells you how many are missing and which. That is why a paper can read 218 of 220 instead of a tidy 100%: the number is the truth about the paper, not a target.

The momentum of wave where wavelength 1.32 × 10⁻⁹ m [Note: UHS's official 2017 answer key does not list a confirmed answer for this item — independently verified via p = h/λ, which points clearly to option A.]
- A.5.00 × 10⁻²⁵ Ns
- B.5.00 × 10⁻²⁶ Ns
- C.5.00 × 10⁻⁴³ Ns
- D.5.00 × 10⁻⁴⁴ Ns
Show answer
Answer: A. 5.00 × 10⁻²⁵ Ns — Photon momentum p = h/λ = (6.626×10⁻³⁴ J·s)/(1.32×10⁻⁹ m) ≈ 5.00×10⁻²⁵ Ns.
- Q2 · MDCAT 2017 · Bioenergetics
Low partial pressure of oxygen in tissues favours ____________ of oxyhaemoglobin.
- A.Dissociation
- B.Formation
- C.Stability
- D.Transformation
Show answer
Answer: A. Dissociation — Low oxygen partial pressure in tissues favors the dissociation (release) of oxygen from oxyhaemoglobin, delivering O2 where it's needed.
- Q3 · MDCAT 2017 · Formal and Lexical Aspect of Language
A voice ____________ us from the either side of the street
- A.Addled
- B.Hailed
- C.Transcend
- D.Purified
Show answer
Answer: B. Hailed — 'Hailed' fits the context of a voice calling out to someone from across the street.
