FAST-NU Basic Mathematics Syllabus — 20 MCQs (20%)

Basic Mathematics is 20% of FAST's test and usually 20 MCQs: quick, matric-level arithmetic, algebra and geometry with no calculator allowed. Percentages, ratios, averages, profit and loss, speed, time and work, and areas and volumes come up again and again, and speed matters as much as method because the section is timed on its own.
