MDCAT 2009
213 questions, every answer verified. Free to try.
ℹ️ 213 of 220 questions available. Q76 was never resolved in UHS's key; six others are withheld because the printed question has no single correct option. Obvious misprints in formulas are corrected, and where the old key contradicts clear science the correct answer is used and explained.
When the official key is wrong, we say so.
Every answer here is checked against the official key published for that paper. Where the key and the subject disagree — and on some papers that happens dozens of times — we mark the answer the science supports, and the explanation on that question says plainly that we have departed from the key and why. One paper's published key turned out to belong to a different paper code entirely.
Where a question cannot be resolved at all — an unreadable scan, a missing diagram, an option the original paper never printed — we switch it off rather than guess, and the paper's own note tells you how many are missing and which. That is why a paper can read 218 of 220 instead of a tidy 100%: the number is the truth about the paper, not a target.

- Q1 · MDCAT 2009 · Electronics
If R₁ = 10 kΩ and R₂ = 100 kΩ then the gain of op-amplifier as inverting amplifier is:
- A.–1
- B.10
- C.–10
- D.1
Show answer
Answer: C. –10 — Gain of an inverting amplifier = −R2/R1 = −100kΩ/10kΩ = −10.
- Q2 · MDCAT 2009 · Thermochemistry
Which of the following is an exothermic reaction?
- A.H⁺(aq) + OH⁻(aq) → H₂O(l)
- B.Na(g) → Na⁺(g) + 1e⁻
- C.½H₂(g) → H(g)
- D.½Cl₂(g) → Cl(g)
Show answer
Answer: A. H⁺(aq) + OH⁻(aq) → H₂O(l) — Neutralization of H⁺ and OH⁻ to form water releases energy, making it exothermic.
- Q3 · MDCAT 2009 · Formal and Lexical Aspect of Language

- A.Took
- B.Saw
- C.Sought
