Chemistry is 30 of the 100 MCQs on the Pre-Engineering ECAT paper (ICS candidates sit Computer Science instead). It covers all three branches of FSc chemistry: physical (basic concepts, gases, liquids and solids, atomic structure, bonding, equilibrium, kinetics, thermochemistry, electrochemistry), inorganic (periodicity, s-, p- and d-block elements) and organic (hydrocarbons through carboxylic acids and macromolecules).
