Physics — 30 MCQs
30 MCQs — FSc mechanics, waves, optics, electricity, electronics and modern physics.
ECAT is the Engineering College Admission Test that UET Lahore uses for its engineering programmes: 100 MCQs in 100 minutes at Intermediate level, four marks each, with no negative marking. English is 10 MCQs on every paper and the other 90 are split equally across your three subjects — Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry on the Pre-Engineering paper, with Computer Science in place of Chemistry for ICS students. UET lists no chapters, so the topics below follow the FSc Part I and II textbooks, and the counts are the practice MCQs we hold on each.
30 MCQs — FSc mechanics, waves, optics, electricity, electronics and modern physics.
30 MCQs — FSc algebra, trigonometry, calculus, analytic geometry and vectors.
30 MCQs — FSc physical, inorganic and organic chemistry (Pre-Engineering paper).
10 MCQs — grammar and usage, vocabulary, sentence completion and one passage.
30 MCQs on the ICS paper, in place of Chemistry — IT basics, networks, databases and C.
