ECAT Computer Science Syllabus — 30 of 100 MCQs (ICS paper)
Computer Science replaces Chemistry on the ECAT for ICS candidates (Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, plus English), so it is 30 of their 100 MCQs. The topics follow the FSc Part I and II Computer Science textbooks: basics of information technology and number systems, networks and data communication, computer architecture, security and ethics, the operating system and office applications, the internet, databases and Microsoft Access, and C programming — which carries the most questions. C questions follow the textbook's Turbo C conventions. Each topic below links to practice MCQs from our question bank.
